DECEASED:  Mrs. Wanda Gene Oakley Boswell age 78 of the Allred Community of Overton Co., TN passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Wanda Gene Oakley Boswell was born in Rickman, Overton Co., TN on Monday, January 27, 1949 to the late Carver and Jessie Hinson Oakley. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. She took care of people all her life and loved to cook and bake. She was loved very much by her family and she will be greatly missed by them and all who knew her.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 53 years: Dwight Boswell; 3 Sons: Scott (Melissa) Boswell of Rickman, TN, Brian Boswell of Allred, TN, Matthew Boswell of Wilder, TN; 9 Grandchildren: David Boswell, Ariel Boswelll, Gianna Olson, Dawson Boswell, Donna Jolynn Boswell, Sumer Gene Boswell, Leesa Leigh Boswell, Isaac Boswell, Emily Boswell; 1 Great Grandchild: Tate Boswell; 2 Brothers: Doug (Barb) Oakley and their children, Todd and Krista, Howard (Sandy) Oakley and their children, Jennifer, Heather, Kimberly all of Anderson, Indiana.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; 1 Sister: Dorris Carr

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Gene Boswell will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 10 AM from the Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Falling Springs Cemetery in the Allred Community of Overton Co. Family will welcome friends to the funeral home on Wednesday evening, June 18th starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Alvin Copeland.
