Ms. Violet D. Roy age 79, passed away, September 16, 2025. She was born in Anderson, Madison Co. Indiana on Saturday, May 04, 1946 to the late Virgil Roy and Virginia Crouch Roy.

Ms. Violet D. Roy is survived by her daughters, Gloria(Archie) Winningham and Sue Cox, and her son Terry Cox, siblings Velma Rhodifer sister, and brother Bobby Roy and four grandchildren, Brittany Cox, Logan Cox, Austin Winningham, and Adam Winningham. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Violet was preceded in death by her son, David Cox, also her brother, Jimmy Roy.

Pallbearers for Ms Violet will be; Dwayne Winningham, Donald Winningham, Logan Cox, Terry Cox, James Wheatley, and Austin Winningham.

Services for Ms. Violet D. Roy will be held in the chapel of Hall Funeral Home on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 4pm. Visitation for friends and family will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 starting at 1pm until time of service at 4pm. Interment will immediately follow the Funeral Service in the Turkeytown Cemetery, in Hilham, TN.
