Valerie Elaine Cobble Raiford, born on September 8, 1970, in Cookeville, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 6, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family.

Valerie was a homemaker most of her life and loved working in her yard. She had a knack for growing beautiful plants and flowers. Valerie loved her family, and her smile would light up the room when she was with her grandchildren. From the first time she laid eyes on them, they had her wrapped around their tiny little fingers.

Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Barbara "Faye" (Vaughn) Cobble, her paternal grandparents, J.B and Maggie (Bowman) Cobble, and her maternal grandparents, Walter and Hilda (Todd) Vaughn.

Valerie will be deeply missed by her fiancé, James Allison, her sons, Jesse (Shandi) Eldridge, Ronnie (Kristen) Raiford, grandchildren Nova and Atlas, her brothers, Danny (Kim) Cobble and Junior Cobble, sister, Sheila (Danny) Winningham, as well as her nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 9, 2025, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, November 10, 2025, 1:00 p.m., with burial following at Netherland Cemetery.
