Roger Lee Rose, age 64 of Rickman, TN entered into rest on September 10, 2024 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 22, 1960 in Cookeville, TN to the late Roy A. and Virginia Smith Rose. He was a devoted husband and father. He was a graduate of the Rickman Class of 1978, where he was an awesome basketball player for his whole high school career. He has been a truck driver for 50 years, and worked for Coopers Recycling for the last 10 years. He was a devoted, and very hard worker. Roger was loved by any and everyone he met.

Roger is survived by his wife of 46 year, Barbara Wilson Rose. Son Todd and Daughter in law Jaclyn of Livingston. Siblings Evelyn (Randy) Lee of Rickman, Robert (Bob) Rose of Rickman, Sister in Laws Netta Rose of Rickman, Mima Key of Crawford, and Brother in law Richard (Barbara) Wilson of Monterey, Uncle Johnny (Betty) Rose of Livingston, Aunt Billie Carol McCoy of Michigan. A host of nephews, nieces, and other family members and friends. Roger loved his animals, his family and friends, was a lover of music.

In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his daughter Jennifer Lee Rose, Brother Gaius Rose, Mother and Father in law, Clell and Veatrice Wilson, Brother in Law Merle Key along with other family.

Pallbearers: Eddie Medley, Mark Scott, Rick Vaughn, Thomas Gore, Chris Maynard, and Charlie Garrett.

Funeral services for Mr. Roger Lee Rose will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11 AM from the Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Netherland Cemetery. Family will welcome friends at the Funeral home on Friday evening, September 13th starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro.
