Mr. Roger Dale Hargis, age 70, born Thursday, October 21, 1954, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Standing Stone Health and Rehabilitation in Monterey, Tennessee.  Roger was born Thursday, October 21, 1954, to the late Ernest and Mary Glenis Hargis in Livingston, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl Hargis and Jimmy Hargis.

Roger is survived by his children: Amanda Garrett (Jamie) of Alpine, Tennessee, Heather Hargis of Alpine, Tennessee, Stephanie Young (Blake) of Byrdstown, Tennessee, Jeremy Williams of Clarksville, Tennessee, Jessica Hargis of Byrdstown, Tennessee.  He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, and his siblings: Patricia Vaughn (Randall) of Livingston, Tennessee, Kathy Johnston (Mike) of Rickman, Tennessee, and Lisa Hill (Robert) of Rosharon, Texas; in addition to Roger's siblings several nieces and nephews also survive..

Roger worked as truck driver which he absolutely loved with a passion.  In addition to trucking, Roger loved travelling.  He served his country as a member of the National Guard.  He loved to joke with his friends and family members.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Hall Funeral Home, 2106 Cookeville Highway, Livingston, Tennessee.  Funeral Services from Mr. Roger Dale Hargis will be Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 1:30 pm with Bro. Jerry Murphy officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hall Funeral Home to assist with Roger's funeral expenses.
