Mrs Phyllis Ann Hix was born in Detroit, Michigan to Clyde and Maggie Carwile Taylor. She is survived by her parents, her husband, Ricky Hix of Livingston; a daughter and son in-law, Shirley and Derek McDonald of Livingston; her grandmother Velma Smith and a granddaughter, Peyton McDonald of Livingston. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Sharon Ayers of Hilham, Barbara Taylor of Hilham and a brother Doug Taylor of Nashville, TN.
