Ms. Penny R. Gamble age 59 of the Poplar Springs Community of Overton Co., TN passed away on Saturday morning, August 30, 2025 at her residence.

Penny was born in Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN on Sunday, October 17, 1965 to the late Erskin and Glenda Allen Gamble. Penny was a very kind and loving lady who valued her family and above all her daughter Caitlan. She loved traveling and doing things with her family. Penny will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Penny leaves behind her Daughter Caitlan Watkins and son-in-law, Trevor Elrod, who was her world; A host of cousins that she cherished; Penny was preceded in death by her parents her sister Amy Green and Caitlan's father Teddy Watkins.

Serving as pallbearers will be David West, Johnny Byrd, Chris Masters, Phillip Slagle, PJ Coles, Paul Elrod, and as honorary, Trever Elrod, Mike Green, James West.

Funeral services for Penny R. Gamble will be held on Friday, September 05, 2025 at 2 PM with burial to follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 05th starting at 12 noon and officiating with the service will be Bro. Jeremy Byrd. The family request that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the funeral home toward funeral expenses.
