Nellie Olivia (Hinds) Diamond, age 95, of Allons, Tennessee passed away Saturday evening December 07, 2024.  Nellie was born in Monroe, Tennessee Thursday, January 03, 1929, to the late Roy T. and Ida Smith Hinds.

In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her husband: William Harry Diamond; 2 brothers: Harlan Hinds, and Kirby Hinds; 4 sisters: Verla Gentry, Pauline Keisling, Kathryn Ward, and Lucille Huddleston.

Survivors include a son: William Christopher Diamond (Laura) of Allons, Tennessee; 1 grandchild, 1 step-granddaughter and her husband, 3 great step-granddaughters, 1 great step-grandson; 3 nephews: Roy Masia Hinds of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Sam B. Coward, III (Windy) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Britt Keisling (Helen) Monroe, Tennessee; 6 nieces: Judy Sampley (Ricky) of Atlanta, Georgia, Betty Gilbreath (Dana) of Cookeville, TN, Sharon Jansheski (Robert) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Shirley McGee (Philip) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Mary Kathryn Brady of Cookeville, TN, and Cynthia Kye Claud (Travis) of Springfield, Tennessee.  11 great nieces and 16 great nephews also survive.

Nellie was a member of Willow Grove Church of Christ.  She worked for the ASCS government office.  She was a farmer, house wife, and mother.  Nellie enjoyed gardening, flowers, and fishing.  She loved her family, and always remained in close contact with each of them.

The family has chosen to honor Nellie's final wishes and have therefore selected cremation.  A private service will take place at a later date.
