Mrs. Myrtle Jane Hicks age 84 of Ashland City, Tn. and formally of Overton County, passed away at her daughter?s residence on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Mrs. Myrtle Jane Hicks was born in Overton County August 25, 1925, to the late Robert and Cora Elizabeth Dickerson Hicks. She is survived by: 1 Daughter: Velma Thompson and husband Stanley of Ashland City, Tn., 2 Granddaughters: April White and husband Matthew of Knoxville, Tn. and Melissa Ott and husband Michael of Clarksville, Tn. She was preceded in death by: In addition to her parents; 7 Brothers: Overton, Henry, Walter Thomas, Eugene, Benton, Willie, and Columbus Hooks; 4 Sisters: Mary Gillem, Martha Copeland, Edith Nelson, Sylvia Hunter.
