Mrs. Mary Ann Evans, 53, of Celina passed away Sunday, February 28th, 2010 at Erlanger Hospital, in Chattanooga

Mrs. Evans was born in Beckley, West Virginia on November 1, 1956, the daughter of the late Jim Giffith and Julia Griffith who survives her of Waxhaw, NC..

She was a member of Dripping Springs Baptist and Celina 1st Baptist Church

She was employed as an Music teacher in the Clay County school system.

She was a 1974 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High school and a 1995 Graduate of Concord College. She was a teacher in the Raleigh County educational system and was currently teaching in Clay County, Tennessee. While living in Beckley, West Virgina she attended the Christian Chapel Church and was the choir director. She also taught piano and enjoyed singing.

a sister, Lesa (Craig) Mueller of Waxhaw, NC.
a brother, James (Cynthia) Griffith of Beckley, WV.

She is also survived by Many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive
