Services will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Lynn Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4-8PM. Officiating will be Bro. David Stockton.

Mrs. Nettie Marie Ellis age 85 of Hilham, TN passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

She was born Overton County, TN to the late Rancy and Martha (Hawkins) Garrett on January 9, 1928. She raised her family in Anderson, IN before retiring to her home in Hilham, TN in 1981. She loved flower gardening, crocheting, traveling, and being with her children, grandchildren, and family.

She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Laura Phelps (Dave) and Linda Brandt (Bill) ; 5 Sons: Stephen Ellis (Ursula), John Ellis (Joe), Thomas Ellis (Terrill), Michael Ellis, and Ronald Dean Ellis (Michelle); 1 Sister: Inell Swinford of Chesterfield, IN; and a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: Husband: Louis K. Ellis; Son: Donald Lee Ellis; 2 Sisters: Gladys Lynn, Vesta Bilyeu, and 1 Brother: Cortell Garrett
