DECEASED: Miss Thelma West age 76 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed away Friday Evening, July 10,2020 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Miss Thelma West was born in Perry Co., Kentucky to the late Johnnie and Laura (Ross) Shephard on Friday, November 24, 1944. Thelma loved her husband of 56 years and her children and grandchildren and loved being with her family and friends. Thelma was a C N A for 17 years; She enjoyed Bluegrass music, and riding horses and large family get together's. She loved to laugh and visit her siblings and tell stories. She would listen to you play the guitar and banjo all day long. Thelma loved celebrating the holidays, especially Easter and Christmas; she considered her birthday a holiday. She cherished anything that was given to her by a loved one. Thelma was very protective of her family especially her children. Thelma is well known for being a hardworking mother and wife.

SURVIVORS: Her Husband: Bobby Lee West of Livingston; 1 Daughter: Lorrie Davis, of Hilham; 2 Sons: Frank Lindsay JR. and Roger West both from Livingston; 2 Sisters: Ethel McMullen, and Dorthy Gray both from IN.

PROCEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; 1 Son: Cordell West; 1 Daughter: Vicky West; 4 Brothers: Dennis Shepard, Freeman Shepard, Lee Shepard, Lindsay Shepard; 4Sisters: Becky Collins, Bobby Jean Shepard, Fanny Matther, Wanda Shepard.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Miss Thelma West will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 10 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston Overton Co. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, July 16, 2020 starting at 6 PM until 8 PM. Officiating will be Pastor David Brown.
