Deceased: Mr. Joshua Wayne Trent age 41 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN.

Personal Info: Mr. Joshua Wayne Trent was born in Kingsport, Sullivan Co., TN on August 30, 1978 to Carolyn Carter and the late Wayne Trent. Many, especially his family and friends, loved Josh and that includes his students over the years. Josh was a band teacher and helped lead a lot of children in music. Josh taught for 13 years in Overton, Clay, and Dekalb County. He was the Uniserve Coordinator with TEA in District eight and was an advocator for and helping surrounding county teachers.

SURVIVORS:   Mother: Carolyn Carter; 1 Brother: Shane Lavinder; 2 Sisters: Deanna Bishop, Angela Wyman; Special cousin: Preston Light; a host of family and friends also survive.

Services / Burial: A Celebration of Life service will be held for Joshua Wayne Trent on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 3 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 8 ^th starting at 1 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Nolan Cantrell. Jeff Garrett, Jackie Pope with the TEA will be speaking and Preston Light will Play special music.
