Billy Wayne Rich was born November 22, 1953 in the Baptist Ridge Community of Clay County, TN on the first anniversary of his late parents Chester and Edna Cox Rich. He departed for his heavenly home on May 29th, 2023 from his home in Rickman, TN surrounded by his loving family.

Billy grew up in Indianapolis, IN and was a transmission specialist at Sharp Ford for the majority of his career. He also served in law enforcement as an officer for the City of Celina and as a Sherrif's Deputy in Clay Co. He finished his career working maintenance until his retirement. He loved his family and being a papaw was his pride and joy.

He is survived by his wife Angela Brown Rich; sons Nathanael (Kayla) Rich, Matthew (Savannah) Rich, grandchildren: Addison, Madelyn, Josiah, Tessa, Declan, Charlotte, Hailey, Levi and one expectant: Ellie; Sister: Karen (Fred) Short; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Chester and Edna Cox Rich, sister Shirley Hooten Rich and two heavenly grand babies.

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Wayne Rich  will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 1 PM with burial to follow in the McDonald Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 1st starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Officiating with the service will be Pastor Christopher McMichael and Billy's son, Nathanael Rich .
