DECEASED: Mr. Richard Wayne Johnson age 49 of Nashville, Davidson Co., TN and formally of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed away from this life on Friday, May 24, 2019 in Ashland City, Cheatham Co., TN.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Mr. Richard Wayne Johnson was born in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN on December 19, 1969 to Orville and Jane (Roberts) Johnson. Robert entered the army in 1989 as a tank specialist transitioning into the reserves. He then became an over the road truck driver enabling him to travel cross-country seeing this beautiful land. Richard had many various passions including playing bass, woodcarving, and tattooing, drawing and recreating art in his own vision. Richard was very spiritual and had dreams of becoming a pastor one day in which he fulfilled at numerous times in his life. He battled addiction most of his life and rose to become a leader in AA and NA. He was a caring man and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.

SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Richard, Jr.; 1 Daughter: Elizabeth; 2 Granddaughters: Royelle, and Aliceya; Parents: Orville and Jane Johnson; 2 Brothers: Robert Bruce, Thomas Ray; 1 Sister: Barbara; 8 Nieces and Nephews: Ryan, Phillip, Brittany, Robert, Anthony, Lisa, Aaron, Andrew; and numerous cousins, family and friends.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services will be held for Mr. Richard W. Johnson on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Allons, Overton Co., TN. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Robert Steven Barlow.
