DECEASED: Mr. Walter Delon Smith age 84 of Allons, TN passed away Saturday night February 19, 2017 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Walter Delon Smith was born in Allons, Overton Co., TN to the late Walter and Mary Sells Smith on October 30, 1932.
Walter Delon served in the Navy and was a truck driver.
SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Linda Smith, Lesa Colton; 3 Brothers: Franklin "Peck" Smith, Bruce Smith, Louis Smith; 1 Sister: Ruby Maynard; Very special friend and caregiver: Bobbie Hurst.
PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents; 1 Son: Kenny Smith; 2 Sisters: Clara Hunter, Maxine Harlow; 1 Brother: Talmage Smith.
SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Walter Delon Smith will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, February 21, 2017 starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. Officiating will be Bro. David Brown. The family has chosen cremation after the services. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers please make donation to the Alzheimer's Association or of your choice.
