Services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11 AM from the Wolf River Baptist Church in Byrdstown with burial to follow in the Smyrna Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5-9 PM at the Wolf River Baptist Church. Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Randy Thompkins.

Mr. Gary W. Phares age 56 of Byrdstown, TN passed away on Friday July 12, 2013 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

He was born in New Castle, IN on November 20, 1956 to the late Clifton and Mable (Davis) Phares.

He is survived by: 3 Daughters: Toni Phares Alvarez, Tara Phares, and Kyra Phares and her mother Billie Bond; 2 Sisters: Virginia Johnson and husband Wayne and Tammy Copeland and husband Randy; 5 Brothers: Clifton Phares and wife Lou Ann, Clayton Phares and wife Rhonda, Ricky Phares, Mitchell Phares, and David Davis and wife Melissa; 3 Grandchildren: Austin, Aaron, and Briahna Alvarez; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by: Parents: Garvin & Mable Davis and Clifton Phares; and 1 Brother: Rex Davis.
