Deceased: Mr. Verlin Lindsey Henson age 73 of Livingston, TN passed away at the Livingston Regional Hospital on Monday, December 30, 2013.

Personal Info: Mr. Verlin Lindsey Henson was born in Campbell Co. TN to the late Howard & Minerva Davis Henson on September 26, 1940. They lived in Lafollette, TN and Verlin started playing music with a local band at age 15. He mastered the electric guitar and singing with Verlin & the V-8's for many years.

Son: Scott Henson & wife Diane. 3 Step Sons: Chad Edens & wife Stephanie, James Holloway, Jason Holloway. 1 Sister: Shirley Miller & husband Louis. 1 Granddaughter: Chasity Hall. 2 Grandsons: Jacob Henson, Joshua Lee. 13 Great Grandchildren: Brayden Hall, Tanner Hall, Jaylee Hall, Jacob Henson, Aleighia Lee, Alaynia Lee, Chloe Edens, Gracie Edens, Fletcher Moore, Emma Edens, Gray Edens, Davie May Holloway, Quinn Holloway. 2 Nieces: Cierra Miller, Tanya Williams.

Preceded in death by: In addition to his parents: Wife: Edna Jewell Riggs Henson. Daughter: Dawn Marlynn Willis. Grandson: Matthew Brad Edens. Great Grandson: James Paul Holloway.

Services / Burial: Services for Mr. Verlin L. Henson will be held Wednesday, January 1, 2014 @ 1pm from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston, TN with burial to follow in the Overton Co. Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at @ the funeral home on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 6pm to 9pm. Officiating will be Bro. Jerry Buck.
