DECEASED: Mr. Sammy Ezell Thurman age 89 of Allons, TN passed away at Tristar Skyline hospital in Nashville, TN on Monday, May 24, 2021.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Sammy Ezell Thurman was born in Hilham, TN on Sunday, May 1, 1932 to the late Sam Thurman and Pearlie (Kirby) Thurman. Ezell was a veteran of the Korean War he was a truck driver by profession, he loved his wife and family greatly, and will be missed by all that knew him.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 67 years: Bobbie Thurman; 2 Sons: Keith (Simon) Thurman and wife Sherry of Cookeville, TN, , Kenny Thurman of Nashville, TN; 1 Daughter-in-law: Amy Thurman of Livingston, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Morgan Hale and husband Andrew of Knoxville, TN; 1 Grandson: Dylan Thurman of Cookeville, TN; A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents; 1 Son: Michael Lee Thurman; 5 Brothers: Walter, Bus, Frank, Lloyd, and John Thurman; 2 Sisters: Anna Lee Kerley, Dorothy Seago

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Sammy Ezell Thurman will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Hunter Cove cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 6 PM until 8 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Eric Dillon.
