DECEASED: Mr. Roy Wayne Johnston age 69 of Monroe, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Roy Wayne Johnston was born in Woodway, Virginia on November 14, 1947 to the late Roy Ancil and Venus Mosley Johnston. He was a Coal Miner and also served in the Army.

SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Kathie Kegley and her husband Lee, Brandy Davis and her husband Tom; Loving and loyal Puppy Missy; 1 Sister: Joann Bailey; 1 Brother: Roger Johnston; 3 Grandchildren: Codie Kegley and his wife Lynsey, Tyler Kegley and his girlfriend Hannah Fleming, Brooke Erdman; 1 Great Grandchild: Rhylee Kegley; A host of nieces and nephews; Godson: Roy Frances Gilbert; Childhood BFF and his son: Dr. Sidney Lee Gilbert and Dr. Sidney Lee Gilbert, Jr.; His extended family: Karl and very special friends Deenie Ashenfelter and Tony Robbins (Uncle Tony) and Nancy and Russ Smith.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents; 1 Daughter: Cynthia D. Johnston; 3 Sisters: Ella Sue Hayworth, Donna Rhea, Patricia Bernard; 1 Brother: Thomas Edward Johnston.

SERVICES/BURIAL: There will be no funeral service for Mr. Roy Wayne Johnston. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 23, 2016 starting at 4 PM until 7 PM. There will be a burial in Virginia at a later date.
