Personal: Mr. James Ritchey Qualls was born on Monday, December 17, 1973 in Livingston, Overton Co., TN to Herbert and Rita (Savage) Qualls; James was a sawmill worker and a member of the Miller Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. James loved his family especially his son Anthony very much. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors: 1 Son: Anthony James Qualls; Parents: Herbert Ritchey and Rita Kathryn (Savage) Qualls; 1 Sister: Kathryn Cheryl Hooks and her husband Jim; Grandmother: Elizabeth Ann Qualls; His father's side of the family: 2 Aunts: Clara Smith and her husband Ronnie, Ann Rochelle and her husband Bob; 1 Uncle: David Edward Qualls and his wife Kay; His mother's side of the family: 5 Aunts: Lesa June Phillips and her husband Billy, Mary Alice Allen and her husband Wayne, Janice Helton and her husband Paul, Shirley Roberson and her husband Perry, Virginia Sawyer and her husband Ray; Robert Joel Savage and his wife Judy, Larry Eddie Savage and his wife Judy, Donnie Savage and his wife Flip; 1 Uncle by marriage: Terry Rutherford; 2 Aunts by marriage: Wanda Savage, Georgia Savage. A host of cousins also survive.

Preceded in death by: 1 Aunt: Ellen Lucille Rutherford; 3 Uncles: Thomas Wayne Savage, William Allen Savage, Jimmy Leonard Savage.

Services / Burial: Funeral services for Mr. James Ritchey Qualls will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Savage Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, Sept. 26 ^th starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jerry Savage.
