DECEASED: Mr. Delton Richardson age 97 of Cookeville, Overton Co., TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Overton Co. Health and Rehab.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Delton Richardson was born in Monroe, Overton Co., TN on Monday, November 27, 1922 to the late William Peter "Billie" and Martha Maude (Sells) Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a member of the Duncan's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and loved his family and church family very much. He helped build the Dale Hollow Damn in Celina, Clay Co., TN then he went to Ohio and worked as a Crane Operator for a company by the name of McNeal Akron Company in Akron, Ohio. All who knew him will miss Mr. Delton Richardson.

SURVIVORS: His wife, Renate Hurst Richardson whom he married March 3, 1992; 1 Son: Rockford Richardson and his wife Karen; 2 Grandchildren: Jill Richardson Boetsch and her husband Joseph, Stacie Richardson Rennick and her husband Craig. 4 Step Children; 11 Step Grandchildren; 8 Step Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Denver Richardson, Dillard "Dexter" Richardson; A host of family and friends also survive.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents; his first wife and mother to his children whom he married on May 10, 1941 Allene Nation Richardson; 1 Daughter: Frances Richardson Scott; 1 Grandson: Jeffrey Richardson; 5 Sisters: Delma Richardson Nation, Desma Richardson Harrell, Delcie Richardson Humphrey, Doris Richardson Harvey, Donna Richardson Mullins; 2 Brothers: Dennis Richardson, Doil Richardson.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Delton Richardson will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Richardson Cemetery located in Monroe, Overton Co., TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, August 31, 2020 starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Wayne Sullivan and Bro. Tommy Phillips.
