Graveside services for Mr. Donald Reid, age 71, will be conducted 2 pm, Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Eckel Cemetery.   Bring a camping chair and join the family as they say goodbye. Military Honors provided at the graveside by the Putnam County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, April 20 from 4 until 8 pm at Hall Funeral Home.

Mr. Reid passed from this life surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from his home in Rickman. He was born in Livingston, Tennessee on January 10, 1951 to the late Arlo and Vauda Beasley Reid. He spent his life farming the land, spreading lime and fertilizer for a multitude of farmers, and helping others. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, time at the lake, and being with friends and family. Donald served our great country for six years in the Army National Guard.

Donald leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Vonda Hall Reid of Rickman; daughter Donna Ray and husband Kevin Ray of Rickman; son, Donovan Reid and wife Althea Allred Reid of Ramstein, Germany; bonus son Adam White and wife Sarah Maynord White of Monroe; grandchildren, Kaden Mark Ray, Sawyer Reid Ray, Drake Maddox Reid, Gracie Mae Reid, Jude Wolfe White, and Maggie Mae White; brother, Gary Reid and wife Peggy of Rickman; and a host of family and friends.
