DECEASED: Mr. Ramsey Wood "Woody" Russell, age 79 of Hilham, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Overton Co. Health and Rehab Center.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Ramsey Wood "Woody" Russell was born on January 30, 1937, in Memphis, TN to the late John Hackett Russell and Marvene (Cunningham) Russell. He was married to the late Dixie Nell (Wright) Russell of Monroe, Overton Co., TN. There were no children by that marriage, but Ramsey and Dixie had a large family of siblings, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He worked in technology and was a lay minister to his church family.
SURVIVORS: 1 Sister: Suzanne Russell of Cookeville, TN and a host of friends.
SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services will be held for Mr. Ramsey Wood "Woody" Russell, Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 30, 2016 starting at 10 AM until the service time. The family has chosen cremation after the service.
