Deceased: Lula Nell Dickerson age 92 of Cookeville, Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Sunday evening, January 17, 2021 at her residence.

PERSONAL INFO: Mrs. Lula Nell Dickerson was born in Hilham, Overton Co., TN on Sunday, May 6, 1928 to the late Hugh and Willet (Upton) Nevins. Lula was a member of the Whitson Chapel Church of Christ. She was very special to her family and she loved them very much. They will miss her greatly.

SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Loretta Pigg, Leda Stover; 1 Son: Hugh Lee Dickerson and his wife Julene; 1 Sister: Louise Miller and her husband Scott; 8 Grandchildren: 14 Great Grandchildren; 2 special caregivers that gave her the best of care: Jean Allen who took special care of her for over 3 years and Tammy Ferrell who also took special care of her for a year.

Preceded in death by: In addition to her parents; Husband: Glen Dickerson; 1 Son: Vernon Dickerson; 2 Brothers: Herman Nevins, James Nevins.

Services / Burial: Graveside services for Mrs. Lula Nell Dickerson will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 12 Noon from the Clay Springs Cemetery in the Dodson Chapel Community of Overton Co., TN. Family will welcome friends at the graveside starting at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 19 ^th . Officiating with the graveside service will be Bro. Gary Anderson.
