DECEASED: Mrs. Mary Josephene Tompkins age 77 of the Rickman Community of Overton Co., TN passed away at her residence on Monday morning, September 19, 2016.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Mary Josephene Tompkins was born in Elwood, Indiana on August 1, 1939 to the late Joseph F. and Mary J. Cox Harting. She was a housewife and a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her loving family, whom she loved very much. She will be greatly missed by all.

SURVIVORS: Husband: whom she was married to for 50 years, David L. Thompkins of Rickman, TN; 1 Daughter: Sabrina L. McDonald of Rickman, TN; 1 Daughter In-law: Debra Duffit of Elwood, Indiana; 5 Grandchildren: Kasandra Moore and her husband Brad of Elwood, Indiana, David McDonald of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Samantha Scoby and her husband Leenard of Houma, LA, Dakota McDonald and MaKayla McDonald both of Cookeville, TN; 4 Great Grandchildren: Ezekiel Moore, Mylis Scoby, Ryeln McDonald, and Leenard Scoby.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, her Son Rickie Duffit.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Josephene Tompkins will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston . Family will receive friends on Friday evening, September 23, 2016 starting at 6 PM to 9 PM at the funeral home. Family has chosen cremation after the services.
