DECEASED: Mrs. Edith Marie Carter age 81 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN went home to be with her Lord on Monday, September 28, 2020 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Edith Marie Carter was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on August 31, 1939 to the late Elmo and Emma Mae (England) Bilbrey. Edith was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother and a dear friend to all. She will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Husband: Norman Clifton Carter; 1 Daughter: Shelia Faye Carter; 1 Brother: Donald Bilbrey and his wife Patricia; 2 Special Nieces: Donna Gantt and her husband Gene, Melissa Daws and her husband Eddie; 1 Special Nephew: Terry Bilbrey; 1 Special great niece: Savannah Daws; 1 Special Great Nephew: Cole Bilbrey; A host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends along with her church family also survive.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents: 3 Brothers: Melvin Bilbrey, Glen Bilbrey, Billy Bilbrey; 1 Sister in-law: Janie Bilbrey.

PALLBEARERS: Robert England, Danny England, Joel Clark, Mike Clark, Jason Bowers, Zack Casper.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Marie Carter will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 11 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Ruth Chapel Cemetery in Overton Co., TN. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, Sept. 30 ^th starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Jerry Buckner.
