Deceased: Mrs. Mabel Alice Ward age 88 of Cookeville, TN passed away at the Livingston Regional Hospital on Friday morning, November 15, 2013.

Personal Info: Mrs. Mabel Alice Laycock Ward was born in Rickman, TN on May 13, 1925 to the late Kelly and Ella Bilbrey Laycock . She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, going to garage sales, and reading her Bible.

SURVIVORS: Husband: Douglas William (Bill) Ward of Cookeville, TN 1 Son: Glen Ward and wife Karen of Tucson, Arizona. 1 Daughter: Brenda Borema and husband Jim of Port Huron, Michigan. 1 Sister: Emma Smith. 1 Brother in-law: Carl Masters and wife Ethel. 3 Sisters in-law: Jimmie Masters, Shirley Masters, Agnes Harward. Grandchildren: Larry and Chris Ward, Kayla Ward, Randy Grove, Matthea and Ron Hess, Paul and Cecilia Borema. 9 Great Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.

Services / Burial: Services for Mrs. Mabel Alice Ward will be held Tuesday, November 19,2013 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston, TN with burial to follow in the Netherland Cemetery in the Rickman community of Overton Co. TN Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, November 18, 2013 6PM to 9PM . Officiating will be Bro. Mark Loftis.
