DECEASED: Mrs. Lucy Lee Newberry age 94 of Alpine, TN passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Pickett Co. Care & Rehab.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Lucy Lee Vaughn Newberry was born in Monroe, Overton Co., TN on June 30, 1920 to the late Roy and Rillie Smith Vaughn. She was a member of the Falling Springs Missionary Baptist Church in the Allred Community. She also worked as the Administrator of Elections in Overton Co., TN for 39 year. Lucy married Clifton Doyle "CD" Newberry and they were married for 57 years and had 1 Daughter.

SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Mary Lee Allred Collins and husband Lewis. 2 Grandchildren: Melissa Bybee and Husband Scottie. Dana Jean Ferrell and Husband Chris. Granddaughter in-law: Debra Allred. 2 Brothers: Ellery Vaughn and Keven Vaughn. 1 Sister: Natalie Parris. 7 Great Grandchildren: Brandon Lee Hargis and wife Patricia, Rodney Allen Hargis and wife Shauna, Michele Lynn Cook and Husband Rob, Althea Lachelle Reid and husband Donovan, Clifton Doyle, Jr. "DJ" Allred and wife Audrey, Christopher John Ferrell Jr., Marah Beth Ferrell 4 Great Great Grandchildren:Drake Maddux Reid, Gracie Mae Reid, Ava Kristen Cook, Wade Allen Hargis.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Lucy Lee Vaughn Newberry on Thursday, September 18, 2014 @ 1PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Livingston, TN with burial to follow in the Newberry Cemetery on the family farm in Alpine, Overton Co., TN Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, September 17, 2014 5PM to 9PM. Officiating will be Bro. Howard Scroggins.
