DECEASED: Mr. Franklin Leon Britt age 85 of Rickman, Overton Co., TN passed away from this life peacefully at his residence on Tuesday morning, December 10, 2019.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Franklin Leon Britt was born in Pikeville, Bledsoe Co., TN on December 8, 1934 to the late Eskill and Nellie (Reece) Britt. Mr. Britt managed a carwash in Livingston for many years and enjoyed meeting people, and was a member of the Swallows Chapel Church of Christ. He also loved his garden and working in it, along with fishing. His family loved him very much and he in return loved them, they all made him proud and he will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Maxie Britt of Rickman, TN; 3 Grandsons: David (Shannon) Britt of Rickman, TN, Mike Britt of Rickman, TN, Blake (Kelli) Haston of Pikeville, TN; 3 Granddaughters: Teresa Key (Ben) of Livingston, TN, Amanda Dixon (Dennis) of Spencer, TN, Bertha (Scott) Murphy of Hilham, TN; 10 Great Grandchildren: Emily Britt, Kelsey Britt, Megan Britt, Madison Britt, Matt Britt, Bailey Britt, Kayla Bedwell, Dewley Haston, Dallas Haston, Daelyn Haston; 1 Son In-Law: Chuck Haston; A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive along with his special caregiver Jann Eilander.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents; Wife: Burnice Britt; 1 Daughter: Wanda Haston; 5 Brothers: R.J. Britt, Henry Britt, (twins) Louie , Dewey Britt, Clyde Britt; 2 Sisters: Martha Ellen Greer, and Ann Imhoff

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Franklin Leon Britt will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Old Union Cemetery located in White Co., TN. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 12 ^th starting at 2 PM until 9 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Justin Reeder.
