DECEASED:  Mr. Deward L. Thompson age 82 passed away from a short illness on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:  Mr. Deward Thompson was born in Lake City, Arkansas on December 23, 1940 to Pearl and Lester Thompson. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and musician throughout his life.

SURVIVORS:  Daughter: Pamela and husband Denny Nagel; Grandchildren: Melissa and husband Steven Jones, Michael and wife Jessica Johnston, and Matthew Thompson; Great Grandchildren: Ashlyn and Connor Jones, Kayden, Joshua, Kaylee and Madelynn Johnston, and Alonna Thompson; Brothers: Russell Thompson, Bearl Thompson, Veris Thompson, and Kenneth Thompson; Sisters: Jessie McCanless, Wanda Gwin, and Kathy Cambron; a host nieces, nephews, other family, and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH:  In addition to his parents; Son: Dewayne Thompson; Loving Wife: Alma Thompson; 3 Brothers; and 1 Sister.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Family visitation for Mr. Deward L. Thompson will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 1 PM - 3 PM at the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. The family has chosen cremation after the visitation.
