DECEASED: Mr. Argyle L Gore age 82 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Argyle was born in Alpine, Overton Co., TN on Friday, May 3, 1940 to the late Haskell and Maxine Gore. He was married to his wife, Maudie Smith Gore, for 63 years. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and siblings very much. Argyle was a registered Radiologist Technologist and worked in the x-ray industry over 55 years. He worked at the Lady Ann Hospital later becoming Livingston Regional Hospital over 35 years. He went on to own a mobile x-ray business, Medway Mobile x-ray, servicing all the upper Cumberland nursing homes, assisted living facilities and many home health patients. Argyle was a fan of college basketball and professional baseball. He was an all-district player during his Livingston Academy basketball playing days. He loved hunting with dogs whether it be quail, coon, or squirrel. He had hunting dogs most of his life.
SURVIVORS: Wife: Maudie (Smith) Gore; Son: Scott L. Gore and his wife Dixie Stepson: Jackie R. Stephens and is wife Goody; 3 grandchildren: Brooks Gore and his fiancé Amanda Wicks, Toni Stephens Shaffer and her husband Rob, Tina Stephens Albrecht and her husband Dan; Great Grandchildren; 4 Sisters: Betty Blair, Bobbie Seacrest, Judy Crabtree, Brenda Allen; 1 Brother: Mark Gore and his wife Lydia; Sister in-law: Gayle Gore; A host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents; Sister: Bernice Howard; Brother: Garry Gore; Brothers in-law: Steve Blair, Grady Howard, Marvin Crabtree, Arndt Seacrest, Robert Allen.
SERVICES/BURIAL: A celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 6 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. The family will receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, 15 th starting at 2 PM to the 6 PM service time.
