DECEASED: Mrs. Zelma L. Beaty age 97 of Cookeville passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the Bethesda Healthcare of Putnam County.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Zelma L. Beaty was born in Allons, TN on December 29, 1922 to the late William Jefferson Davis and Emma (Buck) Davis. Mrs. Zelma was a member of the Netherland Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed by many.

SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Bobby Mack Beaty; 2 Daughters: Karen "Kay" (Beaty) Owens, Lisa Ann (Beaty) Cooper and husband Alan Cooper; 1 Son-in-law: Danny Brown; 1 Sister: Myrtie (Davis) Ledbetter; 8 Grandchildren: Brent Brown, Mindy (Brown) Greer, Amanda (Beaty) Hammock, Amy (Beaty) Venters, Daniel Owens, Samantha (Owens) Longanecker, Nathan Cooper, Stephen Cooper; 10 Great Grandchildren. A host of family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, Husband: Mackie Delmar Beaty; 1 Daughter: Joyce Lorene (Beaty) Brown; 1 Son-in-law: Sam Owens; 1 Daughter-in-law: Sandy Cooper; 5 Brothers: Thomas Perry Davis, Luther Davis, George H. Davis, Edward Davis, Haskel Davis; 1 Sister: Ola Ruth (Davis) King.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Zelma L. Beaty will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 12 PM in the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Netherland Cemetery in Rickman, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Danny Brown and Bro. Alan Cooper.
