DECEASED: Retia K. Martin age 65 of Monroe, Overton Co., TN passed from this life at her residence with her loving husband by her side on Friday morning, June 25, 2021.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Retia K. Martin was born on Tuesday, April 24, 1956 in Livingston, Overton Co., TN to the late James Oscar and Meekle Mae (Smith) Laycock. Retia was a hard working lady, she worked in health care as a cook. She loved her husband, brothers, and sisters very much and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

SURVIVORS: Husband: Steve Martin; 2 Sisters: Brenda Sue Bingham, Linda Laycock; 5 Brothers: Gary Laycock and wife Charlotte, James Hollis Laycock and wife Vicky, Ronald Laycock and wife Terri, Ricky Laycock, Jeff Laycock and wife Katie; Mother In-Law: Betty Paul; Brother In-Law: Lance Martin. A host of family and friends also survive.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: Her Parents: James Oscar and Meekle Mae (Smith) Laycock.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Retia K. Martin on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 10 AM from the Free Communion Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, June 27 ^th starting at 5 PM until 9 PM, then on Monday morning starting at 9 AM before service time. Officiating will be Bro. Chris Coil.
