DECEASED: Mr. Johnnie Ray Melton age 78 of Allons, TN passed away at the Cumberland river Hospital in Celina, Clay Co., TN on Sunday Evening, November 13, 2016 with his family by his side.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Johnnie Ray Melton was born in Allons, Overton Co., TN on October 23, 1938 to the late Chester and Minnie Groce Melton. He was a member of the Summer Shade Church of Christ and was an Oil Driller for many years.

SURVIVORS: Wife Vonda Fletcher Melton, they had been married for 57 years of Allons, TN; 3 Sons: Tracy Melton, Kenny Melton and his wife Vivian all of Allons, TN, John Melton and Vickie Smith of Livingston, TN; 2 Daughters: Christie Melton Hunter and her husband Kurt of Allons, TN, Tina Melton Hopper and her husband Randy of Monroe, TN; 2 Sisters: Betty Flatt and her husband Carl of Gainesboro, TN, Margaret Melton of Livingston, TN, Connie Melton of Chattanooga, TN; 2 Brothers: Chester Paul Melton and Perry Jack Melton both of Allons, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Jessica Cook, Joseph Melton, Tracy Melton, Tanner Melton, Ashley Figuerua, Katie Speck, Jonathon Melton, Madison Hunter, Travis Melton. 10 Great Grandchildren also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents also his Step-Mother: Lana Hill Melton; 1 Son: Timmy Melton; 2 Brothers: Chester "Jimbo" Melton of Georgia, Lonnie Melton of Monroe, TN; 2 Sisters: Jane Melton Hummel of Allons, TN, Carol Melton Langford of Livingston, TN.

PALLBEARERS: Tracy Melton, Jonathon Melton, Chester Melton, Kurt Hunter, Randy Hopper, Joseph Melton.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Johnnie Ray Melton will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with burial to follow in the Mount Pigah Cemetery in Allons, Clay Co., TN. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, November 15, 2016 starting at 5 PM until 9 PM at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. Ken Collins.
