Mrs. Tammy Jo Gunnels age 54 of Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN passed from this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the Cookeville Regional Hospital in Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN.

Mrs. Tammy Jo Gunnels was born in Anderson, Madison Co., IN on Tuesday, April 8, 1969 to  Billy Jo Gunnels and Helen (Maynord)  Howard. Tammy worked in nursing as a CNA. She loved her family very much and she will be greatly missed by them and every one that knew her.

SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Chase Clark his wife Nikisha and son Chance Clark; 4 Grandchildren; Oakley Greenlee, Carolina Clark, Callie Clark, and Chloe Clark; Father: Billy Jo Gunnels;  A host of other family and friends also survive.

Preceded in death by:  Mother: Helen (Maynord) Howard.

Pallbearers: Austin Bledsoe, Grant Livingston, Curt Huckeby, Roscoe Brogdon, Kyle Embleau, and Robert McMillan.

Services / Burial:  Funeral services for Mrs. Tammy Jo Gunnels will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow at the Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston, TN. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 29, starting 1 PM until 2 PM and then follow the procession to the cemetery. Bro Mark Neely will be officiating the service.
