DECEASED: Mrs. Ruby Jewel Leslie age 74 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior and family that has went on before her on Tuesday evening, June 15, 2021 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Ruby enjoyed a long career working at St John's Hospital in Anderson, Indiana. Upon returning to Tennessee she worked many years at and retired from A.H. Roberts Elementary school in Livingston, TN and attended church regularly and was a longtime member of East 38 ^th street Freewill Baptist Church in Anderson, Indiana an then First Freewill Baptist in Livingston, Tennessee. Ruby loved her family and friends very much and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

SURVIVORS: Husband: Keith Leslie; 1 Son: Gregory Phillips; 1 Sister: Sue Ledbetter and her husband Glen; 1 Brother: Richard Murphy and his wife Gail; A host of special nieces, nephews, special great nieces, nephews, along with cousins, family and her friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; 1 Brother: Freddie Murphy; 1 Sister: Linda Murphy Olmstead; Grandparents: Cordell and Dewey Hargis, Leslie and Cora Murphy.

PALLBEARERS: Marvin Leslie, Trey Leslie, Darren Murphy, Jamie Valentine, Kade Copeland, and Judd Copeland

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Ruby Jewel Leslie will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 2 PM from the First Freewill Baptist Church of Livingston with burial to follow in the Ruth Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday morning, June 19 ^th starting at 10:30 AM prior to the 2 PM service. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Darrek Copeland and Bro. Nolan Cantrell.
