She worked in California for the studios and was also a bartender at a local family owned restaurant. She moved to Las Vegas where she was a server in the casinos and where She also met her lifelong best friend Ellen Hollman they never missed a day talking on the phone they love each other dearly

When she couldn't work anymore, she moved back to Cleveland Ohio, where she would babysit multiple children She always had a houseful treated them like her own.

The last five years of her life, she lived in

Tennessee with her grandchildren, Janina and James Cushing, and their children and grandchildren who took care of her until the end. She was so very happy living in Tennessee. Janice loves spending time with her family so very much and she will be missed terribly.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
