DECEASED: Mrs. Sarah Jane Thornburg age 81 of Sparta, White Co., TN passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 while at home in Sparta, TN.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Sarah Thornburg was born in Camden, Benton Co., TN on April 23, 1941 to the late Houston Darnal Gordon and Francis Jane Culvahouse Gordon. She was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

SURVIVORS: Daughter: Karen Frederick; Son: Wayne Thornburg and wife Lisa; 2 Brothers: Houston Gordon and David Gordon; 4 Grandchildren: Brian Frederick, John Colin Frederick, Casandra Panico, and Lauren Thornburg; 2 Great Grandsons: Mason and Tucker Caulford; A host of other family and friends also survive.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Thornburg will be held on Sunday October 30, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow Tuesday November 1 ^st at 2 PM in the Forest Hill South Memorial Gardens in Memphis, TN. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Sunday before the service for visitation at 1 PM until the start of service at 2 PM as well as the graveside service in Memphis at the Forest Hill South Memorial Gardens cemetery at 2 PM Tuesday November 1st. Officiating the service will be Bro. Danny Staggs.
