DECEASED: Mrs. Mary J. Roop age 79 of Livingston passed away at Bethesda Healthcare in Cookeville, TN on October 21, 2019.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Mary J. Roop was born on December 24, 1939 in Monroe, TN to the late Baslie Smith and Mattie Taylor. She will be greatly missed by many.

SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Billy Joe Lee and wife Ruth; 2 Daughters: Cathy G. Smith, Diane Lee; 4 Brothers: Bobby Smith and wife Irene, Austin Smith, Eddie Smith, Dolphus Smith; 6 Grandchildren: Crystal McGraw, Natasha Washington, Corey Phillips, Dillon Garrett, Cole Garrett, Elisha Lee; 6 Great Grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Kyler, Lee, Rose, Colton, Logan; A host of family and friends also survive.

SERVICES/BURIAL: A celebration of life for Mrs. Mary J. Roop will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 2 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 24, 2019 10 AM to 2 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Aron Dillon.
