DECEASED: Mrs. Helen J. Garrett age 68 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Davidson Co., TN.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Helen J. Garrett was born in Livingston, Overton Co., TN on Sunday, May 24, 1953 to the late Dewey R. and Illa (Cantrell) Carr. Helen attended the Church Street Community Church. She loved her sons and grandchildren, and the great grandchildren very much along with her family and friends. She worked hard for her family and showed them lots of love that they will greatly miss.

SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: Wayne Dishman, Bryan Dishman, Travis Dishman; 1 Granddaughter: Alyssa Dishman; 6 Grandsons: DaltonDishman, Dylan Dishman, Colton Dishman, Nick Phillips, Hayden Dishman, Dakota Dishman; 3 Great Grandsons: Jay, August, Slade Dishman; 2 Great Granddaughters: Kennlee Phillips, Dallas Phillips; 2 Sisters: Judy Dillon and her husband Aron, Mable Copeland and her husband Steve; 4 Nieces and 2 Nephews along with a host of family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; Husband: Kenny Garrett; 1 Son: Scott Dishman; 1 Brother: Cledis Dewell Carr

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Garrett will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, December 29 ^th starting at 6 PM until 9 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Jerry Murphy.
