DECEASED: Mrs. Phyllis Ilene Brown Medlin age 68 of Rickman, Overton Co., TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Phyllis Ilene brown Medlin was born in Knoxville, Knox Co., TN on December 21, 1950 to the late Cecil and Ilene (Mainard) Brown. Phyllis worked as an Adoption Specialist for D C S and helped a many of children and parents, and soon to be adopted parents over the years; she went above and beyond her duties. She was loved by her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 49 years, Lewis Medlin, 1son Blake Medlin and wife Lucretia (Moore) , and 1 daughter Heather (Medlin) Wright and her husband Jerrod. Phyllis is also survived by 3 grandson, Bailey and Bradon Medlin and Garrett Wright and 1 granddaughter Emily Wright. Other survivors include her brother Willard Brown and his wife Margaret and one sister in-law Cathy Medlin Dildine. Six nephews and many great nieces and great nephews also survive along with a host of other family and friends.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Ilene Brown Medlin will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Netherland Cemetery in Rickman, Overton co., TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, December 3rd starting at 5 PM until 9 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jeff Cotterman.
