Deceased: Mr. Cordell Hull Speck, Jr. age 70 of the Dry Hollow Community of Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side.

Personal Info: Mr. Cordell Hull Speck, Jr. was born in Cookeville, Putnam Co., TN on Sunday, July 9, 1950 to the late Cordell Hull and James Ottis (Ledbetter) Speck. Cordell worked as a logger for many years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family very much and he also loved to take road trips to see the sites of Gods creation. Cordell will be greatly missed.

Survivors: His wife of 52 years: C. Jonell (Norrod) Speck; 1 Son: Terry D. Speck and his wife Kelly; 1 Grandson: Seth Aaron Speck; Sister: Alva Kay Eldridge and her husband Bud from Rickman; 2 Sister-in-laws: Ina Speck of Nashville, and Joyce Speck of Livingston; 1 Brother-in-law: Dennis Looper of Monterey; A host of nieces, nephews, brother & Sister in laws along with other family and friends also survive.

Preceded in death by: In addition to his parents, 2 Brothers: AB Speck, James Cecil Speck,; 3 Sisters: Gladys Bohannon, Mary Lou Boswell, Alice Faye Looper.

Pallbearers: Seth Speck, Phil Walker, James Speck, Joey Dyer, Coty Speck, & Blakely Garrett

Services / Burial: Funeral services for Mr. Cordell Hull Speck, Jr. will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Highland Cemetery in Overton Co., TN. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, Nov. 20 ^th starting at 5 PM until 8 PM. Bro. Nolan Cantrell will be officiating the service.
