DECEASED: Mrs. Harlene Melton age 77 of Allons, TN passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Harlene Melton was born in Allons, Overton Co., TN on July 10, 1938 to the late Floyd and Edith Dulworth Collins. Her and her husband Champ were both charter members of the Martin's Chapel Church.
SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Ronnie Melton; 1 Daughter: Rita Smith; 1 Sister: Elaine Maxfield. 1 Foster Son: Michael Roy Eads. 2 Grandsons: Matthew Melton, Charlie Smith and his wife Vanessa.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; Husband Champ Melton. 1 Grandson: Kelly Jack Daniels.
PALLBEARERS:: Denton Hummel, Ronnie Hummel, R.D. Hummel, Michael Roy Eads, Ed Melton, Andy Melton.
SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Harlene Melton will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 2 PM from the Martin's Chapel Church in Monroe, with burial to follow in the Fellowship Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 01, 2015 at the funeral home 5 PM to 9 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Perry Clayton, Bro. Phill Tollett,Bro. Britt Gibbons.
