DECEASED : Mr. Virgil H. Willis age 88 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed away on Sunday evening, April 30, 2023 at his residence.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Virgil Willis was born in Burksville, KY on Monday, July 23 1934 to the late John Willis and Jewell Spears Willis. He will be greatly missed by all his family, his church, and his friends.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Minnie Willis; Daughter: Glenda Cantrell and husband David of Livingston; 1 Son: John Willis of Cookeville; 7 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Leo Willis and Gene Willis; 4 Sisters: Pauline Carter, Josephine Gilpatrick, Madine Carmack, and Cleo Walker; also survived by a host of family, along with his church family and a host of friends.

PRECEEDED IN DEATH: His Parents: John and Jewell Willis; Brothers; Paul Willis, Roy Willis, and Phillip Willis; Sisters: Arline Predue and Claudine Willis.

PALLBEARERS: David Cantrell, Michael Cantrell, Josh Cantrell, Matt Tyree, Elijah Willis, and Isaiah Willis.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mr. Virgil H. Willis will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Family will start receiving friends on Wednesday at 1 PM until service time. Officiating with the service will be Bro. James Thrasher, Bro. Matt Tyree, and Bro. John Willis.
