Mrs. Glenda Sue Garrett age 67 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed away in the comfort of her home on Thursday, April 5, 2018 with her family by her side.

Mrs. Glenda Sue Garrett was born in Monticello, KY on Tuesday, March 20, 1951 to the late James Curtis and Mazie Pearl Melton. She worked as a CNA for many years. She loved sewing, quilting, crocheting and gardening in her flowers.

SURVIVORS include: Husband: Gary "Lil' Daddy" Garrett; 2 Sons: Charles Douglas (Tracey) Taylor of Franklinton, NC and Garry Garrett of Byrdstown, TN; 2 Daughters: Kim (Wayne) Sells of Monroe, TN and Letha Garrett of Livingston, TN; Grandchildren: Tyler Sells, Kandace (Dustin) Givens, Zak Sells, Elsie Sells, Haydn Taylor, Lilly Taylor, Taylor Hill, Allie Hill, Kayla Garrett and Cole Garrett; 6 Siblings: Sam Melton, Linda Sells, Beatrice Childers, Mary Stallcup, Donna Silbert and Murl Melton; Caregiver: Heather Oakley, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family

In addition to her parents; Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jerry Wayne Taylor; 1 Daughter: Melissa Dawn Seeley and Siblings: Robert Melton, JP Melton, Charles Melton, Joyce Catron, Geneva Burris, Edna Kidd and David Melton.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Sue Garrett will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello, KY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening April 8, 2017 starting at 5 PM to 9 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Kenneth Beaty and Bro. Jeff Monday.
