DECEASED: Mrs. Carolyn Faye Dees age 76 of Byrdstown, Pickett Co., TN passed from this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Carolyn Faye Dees was born in Carthage, Smith Co., TN on Friday, November 02, 1945 to the late John Lee and Geraldine (Law) Gillihan. Carolyn loved her family very much and worked hard for her family. She prepared taxes for people for many years and enjoyed meeting people and talking to them. Her granddaughter was very special to her as was her great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

SURVIVORS: 1Daughter: Theresa Shelley and her husband Marty; 1 Granddaughter: Brandie Buck; 3 Great Grandchildren: Emma Buck, Emmett Buck, Ella Buck; 1 Sister: Regina White; 1 Niece: Sherry Yiestley; 1 Nephew: John Young; A host of other family and friends also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; Husband: Henry Alan Dees; 1 Daughter: Jeninea Carol Miller; 1 Grandson: Martin Shelley, Jr.; 1 Sister: Beverly Diane Odom.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Faye Dees will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Overton Co. Memorial Gardens. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, March 5 ^th starting at 5 PM to 8 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Craig Waters.
