Funeral services will be held Thursday July 12, 2012, at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Livingston, TN with burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, July 11, 2012 from 5-9 PM . Bro. Freddie Wright and Bro. Tim Buford will be officiating.

Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Cyrus age 84 of Livingston passed away at Livingston Regional Hospital on Tuesday morning July 10, 2012. She was born in Overton County, TN on December 12, 1927 to the late Vollie and Mary Holt Sells. She was a member of the Millers Chapel Christian Church.

She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Joan Melton and husband Larry of Allons and Yvonne Pennington and husband Bob of Celina; 2 Sons: Johnny Cyrus and wife Bettye Ann of Monroe and Ron Cyrus and wife Brenda of Monroe; 12 Grandclidren and 28 Great Grandchilden also survive.
