Mrs. Bessie Emogene Wright age 87 of Cookeville, Overton Co., TN passed away from this life on Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2018 at the Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN .

Mrs. Bessie Emogene Wright was born Monday, May 4, 1931 in Hardy's Chapel, Overton Co., TN to the late Herman and Effie (Barnes) Clark. Bessie was an employee at an appliance factory for many years. She loved flower gardening and cats.

SURVIVORS include: two children: Marcene and husband Larry Bowers of Fernandina Beach, FL and Darlene and husband Timothy Davenport of Daytona Beach, FL; one grandson: Brandon Davenport; six great-grandchildren: Austin, Evin, Hadin, Rylin, Eastin and Westin Davenport; one brother: Darrel Clark

In addition to her parents Mrs. Wright was PRECEDED IN DEATH by her husband Estel B. Wright and twelve siblings.

PALLBEARERS include: Herbert Clark, Joel Clark, Michael Clark, Mark Clark, Leonard Carmack and Delon Clark.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Emogene Wright will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, June 26, 2018 starting at 4 PM until 9 PM. Officiating will be Bro. Kerry Higgins and Bro. Jerry Buckner.
