DECEASED: Mrs. Mary Edith Bowman age 89 of Livingston, Overton Co., TN passed from this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mrs. Mary Edith Bowman was born in Monterey, Putnam Co., TN on Wednesday, March 22, 1933 to the late Basil and Bertie (Speck) Phillips. She was a member of the Allons Baptist Church. She loved her family very much and spending time with them. She loved going to church with her church family. Her family loved her greatly and they will miss her very much but she has left them with memories to hold on to and carry in their hearts until they meet again.

SURVIVORS: 1 Daughters: Beverly Helton; 1 Son: Jim Bowman and his wife Doris; 5 Grandchildren: Travis Sells, Toby (Ansley) Sells, Megan (James) Calder, Tammy (Craig) Story, Jamie (Maggie) Bowman; 10 Great Grandchildren: Robbie Sells, George, Key Sells, Aden, Addisyn Calder, Susanna (James) Owens, Sydney, Isaac,Logan Grace Story, Pilot Bowman, ; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren: Steele, Sawyer Owens; 1 Sister: Evelyn Crabtree; 1 Brother: Basil Phillips, Jr.; A host of other family and friends along with her church family also survive.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; 1 Sister: Bertha Hite; 3 Brothers: JB Phillips, David Phillips, Daniel Phillips; 1 Son In-Law: Monroe Helton.

SERVICES/BURIAL: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Edith Bowman will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 1 PM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Oakley Cemetery in Overton Co., TN. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Friday morning, April 15 ^th starting at 10 AM until service time a 1 PM. Officiating with the service will be Bro. John Keith and Bro. Kenny Gilliam.
